As the Donabe rice cooker utilizes far-infrared rays, it is able to evenly heat up the donabe evenly from all sides to slowly cook every grain from the core. Made with a compact but classic design, this will be a must have item to obtain. In collaboration with Matsusho, the local craftsmen, and Homeland, an all female designer team, focused on presenting a new donabe that combined traditional manufacturing techniques using Shigaraki Clay, while enhancing modern concepts of useability and longevity. This handmade rice cooker will surely not only be aesthetically eye-catching, but enhance flavors that are not possible with traditional cookware. The Scarlet color is a traditional but unique color created by burning pine trees, and the Amber presents an exquisite candy color of deep black and brown that glows in every setting. 

Cook up to 3 cups of rice at a time. Can be used for stewing and dishes like curry.
